Iowa is a killer album. Ross Robinson is the man, that and their self titled are 2 of the heaviest productions in existence. Third album was thin and crushed to shit. All hope is gone was decent but lacked 'their' vibe. The self titled for me is their best. It's bone dry, the tight performances just pop out at you.

The Bogner that everyone thinks is an Überschall...it's not...I talked to Jim's guitar tech, and he said that Jim wanted a very original sound, so he went to Bogner personally, and the guy gave him a one-of-a-kind amp. Said amp was used to fatten up a lot of the tracks. I think the rest might be Rivera and VHTs...No Orange was used AT ALL on Iowa.
