I am with you on that when talking/debating about metal, but when listening, I don't let classifications and comparisons come into play. I just enjoy the album.

Acid Bath hardly sucks. They were surely one of the most original sludge bands ever, with their two albums being about as creative as any Neurosis work. Disliking them is hardly grounds for saying they suck
