Ye. Since alot of swedes/norwegians are lurking here, i was wondering who of you use snus. Im a total n00b to this stuff, but i fucking love it. The problem is that its banned everywhere except in sweden and norway.

Since at the moment i have 20 boxes of it, which i bought of a swedish friend who took them for me to wacken, I was wondering if theres a way to get snus here in holland? Like an online shop that ships to here, if thats even legal.

It goes under your upper lip and you suck on it for a while. everyone in Sweden uses, well not literally but close enough
 
Yes snus is realy nice but its not good for your gums. I used it for about 15 years then I had to stop, because of my dentist wasent happy about what he saw lol.
 
A Swedish friend that moved to Gemany could get it at a few stores in Aachen, but you needed to ask for it since it was "behind the counter" due to it being more or less illegal.

My guess is you need to find the right tobacco store and ask.

Been curious about this stuff myself. Can't believe it's banned in Holland of all places, where you can buy frickin' psychedelic mushrooms over the counter!


Started dipping snuff years ago to quit smoking. Worked like a charm it did. Only now i'm practically a slave to snuff.:p I wanna quit 'cause it's an expensive habit but in terms of health i haven't noticed any ill-effects yet. Been doing it close to 10 years and i'm still going strong. I think i'll live forever.:D

The stuff i dip is called Copenhagen, even though i know it doesn't have anything anything to do with Denmark -- or maybe it once did?


Anyway, over here in the states snuff is quite popular amongst southerners and baseball players, but you find people from all walks of life using it.


I'd love to try this snus.
 
I´ve used snus for over ten years and i dont feel physically ill in any way. My dad´s probably used it for 35 years and he isn´t either ill in any way,snus beats the shit out of cigarettes. If all countries legalized snus it would save many many lives,it´s a good way to stop smoking,you keep the nicotine and tobacco but you take away the risk of lungcancer.
I´ve tried many different kinds and i think most non Swedish snus taste like shit actually. My favorite is Ettan lös,of course you shouldn´t choose the bag sort,go with the loose stuff!

At my last job a few of the guys used it. Having to always have a cup or bottle is to spit in, and it's not all that pleasant to watch. I have a personal dislike for the stuff to be honest, from a woman's point of view..watching a guy spit brown isn't very attractive. The brown gums is nasty too, I'd rather kiss a smoker then someone with tobacco still in his mouth.
I can also say as a former bartender, I HATED throwing that cup away. Used to get it with a towel, no way I was touching a couple full of brown spit.

@ the comments of white trash and farmers. That bullshit. I've seen white collar guys chew it. CEO's and the like.
It's commonly used as a way to quit smoking cigs. And people from all walks of life smoke cigs.

Yeah.. my dentist can't even tell that i use the stuff. I'm sure some people might suffer complications from it, but overall, i think it's far less destructive than smoking. It doesn't detract from your ability to lead an active lifestyle.

That's one of the major downfalls of it -- the lady factor. I've learned to be discreet in my usage however.

Lived there 86-96 and 03-05

The few times I did use snus as a nicitone slave (I mostly smoked) I liked the baggies better, since you didn't get som much crap to swallow down, and it kept your teeth cleaner :lol:
