It may be boring, but it's metal! You just can't take the fact that they are changing their sound. God forbid a band ever progress (read: devolve)! You didn't seem to mind when Ulver turned into electronic quasi-newage music did you? Give In Flames a fucking break, there are certainly very good aspects about RtR (if you like boring music, that is).

Sorry about the black out on my post..Cut and paste problems,lol..what i meant to say is that IF are changing thier sound for a more mass apeal mainstream acceptance and touring with crap bands like Mudvayne ven though i like old ministry and they WERE slated for that tour..This reeks of sellout and shall we say at tour like that is "only for the weak".

You obviously missed the entire point of my post. I was referring (probably should have quoted) to your comment about no one protesting. I protested. I meant for it to be obvious that I don't like the album...because I don't like the album. If there is self-contradiction in someone's speech, it doesn't always mean that that person is an idiot, so don't always assume that. My contradiction was to show that there is little basis to actually defend the album, because there is nothing worth noting on it. The only remotely noticeable part is the chorus of Trigger, and even that is repeated way too many times within the song.

no offense but read the post....i was making light of the fact that they took down the board...no big deal...i still love in flames and own everything including the demo and nowhere did i say i disliked their music you crackhead.....why would i want to pay $15 to see them play with some shitty nu metal band....i would almost pay the money to see just them but i feel ripped off that they are touring with mudvayne...i would rather see something like slipknot than mudvayne....

okok.. i'm sorry about it, i didn't want to look like a smart ass (i think i did), and i didn't want to offend anybody. Its just that i'm getting tired of people saying that In flames music its shit just becose they tour with, slipknot, mudvayne or wathever...

Its all mather of taste i think... i love the new in flames the same as i love their older material
