Get the 002 and then the cheap Behringer ad800...at least it will give you enough inputs. Then after one piddly little paying project, you could easily have enough to then upgrade to a Presonus Digimax and then sell the Behringer.

Get the 002 like Aaron says. The Saffire Pro does have pads, -10db within the sofware mixer. Like he said wasnt that the whole point of the thread before? hahahah
Yep, sorry you are right Forbidden, i was thinking of pads on the the m-powered 1010 software mixer it was going through. Thats the internet for you, dont beleive everything you read!!! hahahah

i would start with a fp then buy an rme ff 400 if i was going to upgrade to an expandable interface
32 iirc. 48 if you add some expansion bundle.
