So I got some great news today...

My boss called me into his office, turns his monitor around and shows me a promotion approval that just came through. My jaw almost hit the ground at the amount....it was about 35% pay raise. YES, that is over 1/3 of my salary....

Needless to say, I was floored. After work tonight, I took myself out to a steak dinner, grabbed some beers, and bought a $15 cigar as a celebration. Sometimes, life just kicks ass.
