I have to admit, I was hoping for pictures.

Blackflies are little bastards and they come in huge swarms, so I dont doubt the amount of damage. Mosquitos just cant get enough of me either, and they always manage to bite me right on my ass so it looks like I have some gross ass pimple or something all summer. Plus I dont look very classy walking around scratching my ass either... I think Ive said too much.

And June is their prime season in these parts, so the swarms are at their strongest.

my ex girlfriend went to Japan last summer for a few months, and apparently the mosquitos they have over there are just ridiculous. She took a picture of a bug bite she got on her forehead...HER FOREHEAD...and it had to have been the size of a softball.

I have not been to Japan, but if they are bigger than the Mosquitos's in south Texas then they have to be huge. I have seen them in Houston and Galveston with over a three inch wingspan. And those are small compared to the cockroaches, don't even get me started on those damn things.
