In my opinion, Janne is the best keyboardist in metal... But the dude from Dream Theater is baddass, too...

Relating to Blooddrunk being praised, I actually have lately been liking "Roadkill Morning" even more than I already did - it was always my favorite from the album. It's now one of my favorite Bodom songs of all time. I think YBOD and CoB (self-titled song) will always be my favorites though

I have to say that I don't really like much of the stuff before Follow the Reaper. There's a couple songs before it that I like but very few. A lot of people are all on a high horse about Something Wild and Hatebreeder about how their true Bodom but I mostly find them boring. Follow the Reaper and onward, I'd recommend because I love almost every song.

And by the way, I gave Bodom their own genre; keyboard metal haha

You might want to check out a band called Eternal Tears of Sorrow if you like Bodom or this kind of metal in general, if you're willing to tolerate some female pseudo-operatic vocals =)

Well, it's not like Arch Enemy or Astarte female vocals, they have standard death metal male vocals, plus clean female vocals in interludes.

They're decent songs, but they don't cut it for me, in terms of general bodom quality.


I honestly think its wrong, that to be able to really like an album, i have to ignore that they have other albums. Thats what I have to do with AYDY. its a nice record, but it falls short when looking at their previous, and newer albums
