I hate to say it, but after listening to WCFYA for the first time a while recently, that album is going to be hard to beat. If it wouldn't have been for that awful "Strap it On" song that album would have been amazing from start to finish. I'm listening to "Anyplace but Here" right now and playing along with my guitar. Great stuff.
I think they need to make a departure from that sound (WCFYA) if they want this album to stand out. Classic thrash is vogue again, and we know they do that better than just about anybody, but they don't need to go that direction either.

i feel the same way except the awful song is cadillac rock box. i don't care if it's a tribute to dime i just don't like that tune. i burned a copy for the car and put ghost after what dosn't die and exit in rock box's slot. now the disc kicks maximum ass to me

I heard a little bit of Scott on Indie 103.1 this morning, with Joe Escelante (the Vandals), hear in LA but missed most of the show, so I don't know if he commented on new material.
He did comment on Danicing with the Stars though and not liking it or dancing, I wonder if he forgot about moshing

I asked Scott in the CDC if they regretted ditching the WCFYA line up and he said they had no regrets. Fair play to them, whilst I personally hate the reunion at least they are sticking to their guns..

It's not like they're going to come out and say they made a mistake. I'm just curious to see how Joey sounds in the studio and if we'll hear any screams.
