It's supposed to be the Official TESTAMENT Forum, but it has a life of it's own these days.

I see more Exodus (and recently Machine Head) posts than I do Testament posts!
Heres some ideas for threads:
Why do so many Testament albums start with "The..."?
Why does Testament go through drummers like I go through burritos?
Do you think Testament yelled at anyone when they noticed that the poster for the Bay Area Thrashfest mispelled their name, "Testement"?
How many burritos do you think Chuck could eat in one sitting?
Will Testament ever say "Fuck It," and pick up 7 strings?
If Testament toured with Exodus, who would headline?
Testament are from the Bay Area. Why not more songs about Burritos?

I actually agree w/ OfficerNice , you can only do so many threads on your favorite "Testament guitar solos" or "what's your favorite Testament song" , or " What's the best Testament lineup" ..... We all have metal music in common and we talk about bands like Machine Head , Darkane or whatever because we've pretty much exhausted alot of the other topics ,
HOWEVER, I do also agree w/ Brooks that sometimes it's just seems like the board is about everything under the sun and board-member-in-fighting. I can bet a six pack that as soon as there is some NEW Testament news to report like a new record perhaps, or a new song clip, or a new song title, or any hopes of this new record coming out somtime this year, maybe even an update from the band themselves, this board will be back to the Testament topics.

Yeah, there's a lot of random Bay Area talk going on here, but the fact is, there just isn't that much to talk about with Testament. Most of the topics have been done before. This is what happened to the Nevermore board - in between DHIADW and EoR, the board got huge and ran out of Nevermore topics. So it became Randomness@Ultimatemetal.com, but the Nevermore conversation returned (for a while) with the release of EoR.
I don't think that'll happen to the TL board (thankfully, heh). But we're due for a swell of Testament conversation once the new album comes out. After all, we'll have to redo the entire "Best Testament Song Ever" tourney and all that stuff.
So if anybody has any Testament stuff to say, throw it out there; but rest assured, we'll get back to the band eventually. There's just nothing to say.

I'd say the current one, except with Lombardo on drums (no offense to Tempesta, but Dave's just in a world of his own).
The classic lineup was great, but Louie Clemente wasn't a particularly stellar drummer, and you just gotta have DiGorgio on bass.

i see some Testament discussion goin on but Reuben is right...in between records and tours, discussion on the band becomes limited...theres not a whole lot to talk about since its all been discussed before...the Nevermore board was bustling with Nevermore related topics during their last tour...the same will occur when Testament tours and the new record comes out...in the mean time we'll see topics about stories on how the members here met the band or favorite record, etc and some off topic nonsense...either way, i find this place enjoyable...
