So the album's leaked...

I'm not pissed off by it but only because I know it's something that would have happened anyway. I'm just pretty amazed the process is so quick. Well, I've never seen it so close.

Hmm, still I'd gladly take five minutes with the guy who did it, just for the principle...

Hearse: sorry, we only get copies for our girlfriends, not to our boyfriends (even though you are our mutual bf). :)

It's also available on the UM hub on DC++. Some people are downloading it and then not sharing it, which is nice of them I suppose.... :zombie: If it helps any, all the comments are positive. Unless being compared to Opeth isn't a positive thing for you, because a couple of people have mentioned that - drumming and vocals in particular, apparently. :p

But it wasn't me who did it!!

I'm also not gonna download it... part of it out of some feeling of loyalty (as if one person not downloading it makes much of a difference, especially when I'll be buying it as soon as it comes out anyway :p). But the main reason is that this is one of those albums I want the "full" experience of - being able to read through the booklet and stare at the artwork and stuff as I'm listening for the first time... uh, please someone tell me you know what I'm going on about. :erk:

Yes, I know what you're talking about... I downloaded Ephel Duaths The Painter Palette, liked it very much, went to a shop and asked for it... Hmmm... actually went to 3 shops and asked for it and finally in the third they promised to get it for me... It took two weeks to get, but it was worth it...

I quickly visited UM dc hub and noted that it was ripped by some group even... Unfortunately there are lot's of people unlike us, Rusty, who just download and don't buy. Well... hmmm... yes, my mp3 collection is quite big and I'm not going to buy all the albums, but the best... So yes, I'm not a good person to talk about morals...

And well... About Farmakon, I won't even consider downloading it, I've heard it a couple of times and I'm gonna buy it when I'm able. Hmmm... maybe you should market the thing a bit more than Ephel Duath, as it is the same company distributing it to Finland and it seems that it doesn't do so good job

Over and out

 I´m looking forward the lollipops with stickers of TONI and the boys (not palle and the boys..)

Comparing to Opeth is an honour, but also a bit tiring. We've also been compared to Ephel Duath even when the songs were made before we even heard Painters palette. But as long as we're not compared to shitty bands it's okay.

I totally understand the feeling you're ranting about. ;)

I got the promo this morning, in with my Forest Stream t-shirt from Mr B. I'm sure I'll have listened by the end of the day, booklet or not.
