So To The Nameless Dead has leaked

My sister does that, bugs the shit out of me. Will buy a CD and won't even listen to 3/4's of the album. Just listens to the first minute of the single, skips, listens to 2 minutes of another single, skips, listens to the last single for about a minute, then switches CDs.

I don't see the point of that.

I'm not sure why it's so hard for people to grasp the concept that these two things are not mutually exclusive, but maybe a picture will help:

And yeah, album-based shuffle is great, and a nice way to listen to stuff you might ignore otherwise. It's like having someone else choose the next album to listen to, except that you can tell them "no, fuck that, choose another one". Track-based shuffle is for morons, except when you're sitting around drinking with friends and playing the "Who Can Name The Song First" game.

And now, to listen to that Primordial album...

Neil

My Logitech 5500s are hooked up to my PC, and DVD player and a standalone CD player, so they are a real stereo, as is the tube amp wired to the cd player and tv. Silly people thinking modern computer systems are only used on PCs anymore. <3 optical ports.

Edit Maximus- Neal, whatever you say you space cowboy. If you're getting a good sound out of that, all the power to ye. The people I had in mind are listening to 128kpbs torrent rips on winamp (it really kicks the llamas ass), on shitty labtec speakers at 10% volume.

I certainly hope that nobody here is that musically inept. I mean, this is RC, not fucking GMD.

Empire Falls is a good opening once again, I didn't think as much of The Golden Spiral on first listen. I have zero expectations which is the best state of mind actually. I have yet to see them live though..

PS : As rome burns is amazing.

Man, you guys have some twisted views on musical elitism. You have to listen to whole albums, ALL THE TIME RAWR!! Hahahahaha, that's just fucking precious. If I wanna listen to Burzum's "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss", followed by Maiden's "Hallowed Be Thy Name" and Morbid Angel's "Fall from Grace", I fucking will! I'm not so bloody stupid that the tracks somehow magically blend together, nor am I so daft and slow that I can't shift from one mindset to the other over the span of several minutes without finding it exhausting or confusing. There's a time and place for everything.

People seem to take me seriously far more often than they should.

Maybe I should just put a bunch of emoticons in my signature?
