I indeed think NOT! though there's some pretty good songs on both metioned albums especially the latter....
and yes "random acts of senseless violence" is NOT a classic nothing from that album is. I think apart from "vol. 8" is was the biggest mega flop ever...(I can of course never argue if it's your personal highlight....)
I would say only very few songs from SOE too...indeed "antisocial" and "be all, end all" but apart from that not really, that is why I referred to "Among the living" but the same goes for "spreading the disease" if you like it that's up to you, but there's no denying they are utter classic!
I think BTW "persistence" does have quite a few classic songs (in my world, got the time, belly of the beast, time), as does "sound of white noise" (only, room for one more)...but the latter is the ONLY Bush era album that really has some historical significance...
it's just BS what mr. Deege says, and no one can deny ANTHRAX was forged in the 8 years they were in the "classic" line up.
In that respect you can compare pretty good to as well the AC/DC as the PRIEST situation....they both made HUGE classics with their "classic" line ups (not original because like ANTHRAX they had different singers when they started out in the form of AL Atkins and Dave Evans) and the first album after the singer change was (in AC/DC's case in Priests case it was "Just" OK) a huge classic and afterf that mediocre albums....with the accasional good one (Like "Angel Of Retribution" or "The Razors Edge....").....
