So, while the global economy is taking a major whack...

401k's and the like are taking a 2 trillion dollar hurt, investments have gone to shit, and the country is in an even larger debt... Obama goes out and spends about a million bucks on a 30 minute TV add. Possibly another million to come... maybe even millions.

Tell me again now, why is this man to be trusted to help us economically?

Because he's running a campaign, you mental midget. Who do you trust with the economy: the man who spends money running a presidential campaign and who, a few years ago, was living in a middle class apartment; or the man who has 7 houses and admits he doesn't know much about the economy? This should not be a difficult question for you to answer if you put your ideology and insecurities aside.

When in the last 20 years has obama lived in a fucking apartment? OH wait, I forgot about the one on capitol hill he's rented for the past few years along side owning some nice large houses over the years in Hyde Park...

Not born into money, I suppose but eventually his mama married an Indonesian oil dude (when Barack was 5 or 6) whom had quite a bit of money, and then he moved in with his grandparents, in hawaii, where he attended an extremely expensive private school for years and years. So I'm guessing he was on food stamps somewhere before his mom flying around the world banging random dudes and marrying the rich and NEVER?

Michelle Obama's words = UGH.

I like the way you didn't answer his question, nice one.

Whats there to answer. It's not even a question it's just another "OMG MCCAIN HAS OVER 9000 HOUSES!" (Had to slip that over 9000 in) statement, masquerading as a question.

Shit, if anything it shows he knows money a little more intimately than Obama.

Eric, I know you're pissed at Obama...but seriously dude, your arguments aren't just reaching, they're clawing at anything to keep from falling.

McCain was born into money and power. His father was a full Admiral in the Navy, and he followed in his footsteps. Somewhere between cheating on his crippled soon-to-be ex-wife who waited 6 years for him while he was in the prison camp he never lets anyone forget about and becoming a senator, he meets his current wife, who's already sickeningly rich. He worked hard, endured hard times, and became the man he is today. But he didn't live the American dream and start out with nothing and rise to power. He was born into power and has had it since his head crowned from his mother's vagina. It's much easier to make something of yourself when you come from affluent beginnings.

The fact is that McCain would've been a great president in the 20th century; however, we are in the 21st century, and his ideas and methods are both dated and flawed. Instead of thinking of the country first, as he always claims he does, he chose a clearly inferior running mate obviously for political reasons and not what would benefit the US. She is not just inexperienced; she is an embarrassment and a pathetic excuse for a candidate running for one of the highest offices in our country. She should be running for McCain's cabinet as Secretary of Transportation or something, but not Vice President. She cannot even handle herself in front of American media...imagine her dealing with the theocracy of Iran or Russia's Putin. I think that McCain would have a much stronger campaign if he didn't try to get the superfluous and artificial vote by choosing someone clearly not suited for the job, and instead someone who would be able to answer a direct question directly and without talking in circles.

I'm stressing Palin so much because he's in poor health and she's the next in line.

I think we've seen what happens when Americans vote for people who they feel are "just a normal guy/gal".

Obama needs to start putting his balls on the line and stop tiptoeing around these issues, however. He needs to put his money where his mouth is and show some of that leadership he's been flapping his gums about.

Obama lost me completely last night when at the Grateful Dead benefit his recorded message said "I've been going around the country making my own 'Touch of Grey'"

This man... NO.

McCain is clearly not qualified to be president. I would actually say he is severely under-qualified. He is a make-believe Maverick at best.
