So, who did what solo?

I claim #2
good job dude. i voted for 2.
mine was....6
/me runs and hides

what i liked about 2 was the phrasing, really cool, and the way you sped it up after the ascending scale run thing.
I also liked 4 and 7, but i liked will's best. it was very melodic.
about mine, well i think it sucks, and the pick tapping idea in the begining was stupid. I did it to make it sound "grim". Next time i will have a different approach.
Congrats to the winner and to everyone who participated!

that´s what i was going to ask...
congratulations Evil Pete for getting the highest number of votes, and congratulations to the other ones who sent what they recorded
like steve said, i didnt write "winning" because its not a competition...

Evil Pete, congratulations once again, for making the most "ear-grabbing" solo

i just cant wait for the 2nd playback so i could join this "contest" :headbang:

I didn't get one in, no way to record and no time. Blah.

BUT, I want to throw out to E Pete, great job man, that solo rocked!!

Secondary mentions to everyone, but especially Jason and Will, like both very much.

I am so looking forward tom many more of these.....:headbang: :worship: :headbang:

Right on guys!
I felt it better if you wanted to mention who you were, as everyone here stated at the begining of this "contest" that they wanted to remain anonymous...
We should be hearing from Evil Pete real soon! Looking forward to hearing more of you guys enter( ahem...No More Beers and Souls of Black, and a few others who mentioned they were going to!Get on it guys! )!
Hey Pete, we're ready for that track man!:headbang:
Happy Halloween everybody!

I think mine was number five, but it was labeled JB somewhere in the tag so that should give it away.

Would love to hear one-takes, harmonies are nice but with the stuff that goes into some things like that you might as well just be writing a whole new song - I always liked off-the-cuff solos better (big into jazz and Zappa, guess that could do it).

Jeff

:OMG:

Wow...wasn't sure anyone would like it, lol!!

Backing track on its way to Steve.

Jeff, I had about 15 takes of doing a one-take thing and they were all HORRIBLE!!!

But :worship: to everyone who put something up, all good stuff and LOTS - I liked the beginning bit with the tapping!!

Just for fun, I mixed them all together.:loco: I spread the tracks out evenly from left to right but it's a glorious racket! Listen to it here.
