On rte. 1 from San Jose up to SF I climbed down a cliff to the Pacific Ocean, the first time I had ever touched it, and found a sea creature in the breakers that I had never seen before. I picked it up and it gave birth in my hand.

Then I came back to Boston and as I stepped off the train some guy said to me "You know I hate white people."

Actually I bet he actually did not realize that, avi. I for one wouldn't have pegged you as the social type - I thought for you it was just work and then more work and family stuff.

wow, that is a true slap in the face from reality.

i, for one, have always wanted to drive up rte 1 (or whichever is the one that goes all the way up the coast to oregon/washington from ca). maybe i've seen too many movies, though.

i propose this should be a board trip (driving up the west coast).
we should all sell candy bars or triops or something to raise $$.

With proper sponsorship, I would be willing to offer my SWEET RIDE as transportation on this mystical journey of epic magnitude. My ride is fully equipped to convey 7 reasonably sized adults, in reasonable comfort*, for point A to point B* as well as to an points in between. Though I must say, taking The Dope's ride would make it feel a lot more like a classic movie, or a car commercial.
