Some Oklahoma "Straight-Edge" Metal!!

Hey guys I haven't posted in a while but here is my latest mix of a band from around here called Standing Upright. They are all about straight edge stuff. Anyways please give me some help on this one. Tried to go for a more roomy snare but also that modern in your face production.

PS: And the drums are all the 100% miced tracks except the kick which is blended 80% with a couple of samples in my collection.

Ok, i'd say the kick need some more meat on them bones... the drums in general could be louder/more present in the mix... they sound a bit subdued...

i generally don't comment on guitar tone unless asked... or if it really bugs me... so no comment.

I'd take some highs from the OH tracks, as they are really piercing. bass needs more volume. Guitar sounds a bit weak, but nice tone

Updated the link. Bass still isn't done yet but I think I am getting closer.

Less hi end on the OH track would do wonders to the mix.
Bass still needs more low end (and maybe less grind)
Guitars could have some Lowpass (the recto cab on the POD sounds too fizzy)

This one sounds slightly better
