I know things have been slow around here, and ECs message (will he ever get back to reply?) kinda bummed everybody out - but I may have good news!
I got a chance to see a long-time drummer friend of mine...who I was in a band with back in the day. I told him about this internet collaborative thing - and he seemed pretty excited about it.
I am in the process of sharing some of our files with him so he can check it out for himself. He was a huge maiden freak back in the day, but like most musicians nowadays, his current band does not exactly play that type of music anymore - so this would be a good outlet for that.
Keep your fingers crossed. He is a damn fine drummer...and owns all the equipment he needs to lay tracks down easy (drum permanently setup to be recorded down in his basement).
