well one has to do something while waiting for something entertaining to happen! i visit random forums a lot just to see what there is to see and that thread was quite funny so it was worth it hah. I like Opeth to an extent but i wouldn't call myself a fan...
Quite frankly, I think Opeth missed the boat with this DVD. Had they released it a year ago, I would have bought it in an instant. Damnation did nothing but degrade Deliverance IMO.

Still Life was my last Opeth purchse and i have everything before it as well but i haven't even listened to them in ages. They're good but not the awe inspiring emsemble that a lot of people make them out to be. But i have strange tastes in music anyway...

For the record I used to hang out in the Opeth forum all the time, it never failed to give me something to do (good or bad) during slow moments at work.

thanks! i happen to like what i listen to just fine. i have a hard time discovering new bands though. i'm just too damn picky for my own good, but it's also good since i'm a broke mofo.
It is funny though how nobody here has seen the DVD. Where the heck is Opeth17 when you need him? He probably has the Turkish release with Hindi subtitles or something.

A rather interesting discussion I must say. Now prepare for a shocker, I haven't seen it. I've been working on my cd collection of theirs and seeing them live (which ruled). I'm just a poor guy, so that drained all my cash and The End never has it in stock when I do have money. I'll make sure to get back to you all when I buy it, but that could be awhile as their albums on vinyl are my next quest.
