it's not songs with alternative lyrics. if you keep your mind/ears open and possibly drink a beer or two, you will notice that in those songs it sounds like mikael was actually singing those "alternative" phrases.

not sure if it's "force" of, in fact, "thorns", but the of alcohol variation is a popular one live.
