-Joeyeveryone in New York or wherever the fuck you are from.... HOW DO YOU FEEL!?
MetalThrasher442 said:Haha. My city is never mentioned anywhere. Atleast your state was one of the first thirteen colonies.
eighteeschick said:Actually my city is getting more popular these days but the state as a whole is like NY's bitch. lol!
eighteeschick said:Bayonne. Our mayor is ruining our town though. The city over from me is directly across from NYC and they are trying to build that area up, building condos and bringing in business from NYC. In the meantime, in Bayonne, our mayor wants to put in a mall, building condos, etc. to lure New Yorkers here with cheaper rent. The people who live here already, though, can't afford to live here. The gas & electric just went up at least 30% and water went up almost as high, if not higher. Taxes are ridiculous too. Don't ask me why I'm typing this. I don't really know.
Whiplash402 said:that sux but dont talk to me about condos i think its safe to say that over 50% of our downtown is condos
eighteeschick said:I can honestly say I never thought I would care about condos, apartments, houses, whatever but having a family now, I don't want that kind of town. That's why I used to like living here. We still had our houses, its only got like 60,000 people and believe me, everyone knew everyone (sometimes thats a bad thing though).
Bayonne is popular mainly for a new place to film movies these days. It also had some history during WWII. That's pretty much it.
