But I'm really "sorry" that for them that song means nothing.... that song is very important, for me...

i think it makes something wild what it is, i love the neo classical part
i bought are you dead yet before something wild & hatebreeder and i liked aydy better than them both, in the shadows, red light in my eyes and wrath witihin swayed me to liking the older stuff lol
i hardly ever listen to AYDY any more though

Well, in every little angle of this forum I said that my fav album is Hatebreeder, so maybe you already know it or maybe you didn't and then you discovered it now... but that album, and particularly the homonymous track, is everything for me!!
I love all CoB's albums, but my 3 loves, and in order are: Hatebreeder, Follow The Reaper and Something Wild....
And yes, you just try to touch them and you'll die instantly!! They're my treassssure... (said like Gollum says about his ring in The Lord Of The Rings movie.. )...

yeah, hatebreeder is definately the best song off of hatebreeder album, i learned the solo yesterday. i was expecting it to be harder than it was, has anyone else noticed this picking pattern of alexis? he uses it in the wrath within classical part, the AYDY solo and the hatebreeder solo, i was just wondering if anyone had noticed it, it looks like this:

Lol i know, it just seemed apropriate to post it here because i was talking about hatebreeder and the other dudes will understand what i mean
um a katana is a kind of japanese sword that samurais used, but i put an extra t in it to be cool

im from england... Japan's pretty cool though. ive just used this name for ages, it was my old gaming name from when i used to play counter strike n stuff
anyway yeah i just gave in the shadows another listen, i just love how he starts off screaming "i cannot get up by the howling cry, to justify my longing to die" it just gets my blood pumpin faster

lol, alexis style seems easier to me every day i used to be like omg alexi is god (in a fanboy kinda way, i know) but i still think hes one of the best because of his songwriting and he can make a musical and fast solo n stuff but his fast stuff isnt what i thought it was

Yeah, I feel the same... the part with the organ is great ... this song gives me energy...and the screams, they make me feel as I myself was shouting...

yeah, the drums are awesome too, the song is EPIC, it keeps changing and the ending is awesome, makes me picture like everyone in the world holding a lighter up, your english is fine too

Yeah, the song keeps on changing rhythm for its entire duration... and the end is spectacular...
So yeah, nothing else to add: it's just a song that we love... and as far as I'm concerned, I'll like it forever, I'm sure, I know myself about my musical tastes...

seriously, i used to be such a geek id sit there playing it all day, untill a friend said to me "if you played guitar instead of counter strike, you could be one of the best out there" i spose he was just tryna encourage me and it worked

Hell yes, Alexi is one hell of a great singer. FTR vocals were the best. I think Alexi doesn't give himself enough credit on his vocals. I don't only see him as the best guitarist in the world. He's also a great vocalist and lyricist. Even though his lyrics is something similar most people would think of, the way he puts it is in a very creative way with the reaper and Lake Bodom. It gives a new idea and concept. His vocals aren't as good as FTR anymore but when it was, it was very memorable..

Then, when I listen to CoB songs, it's as if Alexi Laiho screams for me when I would but I can't cause it's forbidden (and for many reasons)...
But luckily there's CoB music and there's Alexi who "screams for me"... then it seems to me that it was me to shout, and not Alexi...
