Songs of the week

Overkill - Elimination: Hehe, the vocals crack me up, great song.

Dream Theater - Pull me Under: Right, if you dont know this one, pack your shit up and go back to bed.

Daler Mendhi - Tunak Tunak: It gets no better. I wish I could dance like Daler.

Amon Amarth - Across the Rainbow Bridge: Stereo Crankage. Listening to this makes me want to wear my Amon Amrth shirt, but then I realize it still smells like vomit. It was a long weekend...

All Shall Perish - The Spreading Disease:

Iniquity - The Bullets Breath: What can I say, Grime is a great DM CD. :worship:

For the week anyways.

Ayreon - Day Six: Childhood; Hearing James LaBrie and Mikael Åkerfeldt exchanging vocal lines is just plain amazing

:yell:

You kill me. Will...resist...till...release. That's when I get my über-cool limited DVD-packaged The Human Equation. Woo!

Paradise Lost - As I Die

Just today's favourite perhaps, but such a classic. I'm feeling fucked, but so much better than in the morning/early afternoon. Better listen to Devin again soon, and check out Terria too if I feel like it. Song titles like Canada sound promising.

LoM, what are good albums to get from The Quill and Saviour Machine discographies? Same for The Tea Party, plus what are they like anyway?

Well, for starters, the only Quill album I own is Hooray! It's a Deathtrip....so I guess I would have to recommend that one. It's their newest and sounds a good bit like Soundgarden...so if you like Soundgarden, you will like The Quill. With The Tea Party, it depends on what style you prefer. If you are looking for rock similar in style to Zeppelin and with plenty of Middle Eastern elements thrown in, I would suggest you get The Edges of Twilight. On the other hand, if you are looking for something a little heavier, for the most part, with a lot of industrial ala Nine Inch Nails thrown in, then Transmission is the album for you. Saviour Machine.....they are awesome. I guess you could call them Christian Progressive Operatic Classical Metal....or something like that. Definitely some of the most epic music I have ever heard. I would suggest you get Legend III:I but since Legend is a series....it's kind of weird hearing it out of order. So, if you have the money, just buy the entire Legend series.

Ok I've never listened to Zeppelin or Soundgarden, so this should be interesting.

Oooo, did you have a microwave in the cave you've been living in for the past couple years? If not, you should check them out, they are COOL.
