Sorry I just have to share this :)

yeah Aborted !
I saw them so many times in my country.
Yes, an album in preparation, and they made a fun concours on Vs Webzine : permit to a fan to write all a song lyrics for this next album.

For the song I35, I'm happy to see that they return to their older death metal way (Carcass feelings). But this song, even if it's brutal, is boring me...
Too much classical death metal riffs, rythms, patterns, etc.
I feel the time is long when I listen to it.
But I also think that in live, this song will kick ass ! :headbang:

The previous album was pretty good too... yeah, I agree they're quite conventional in certain ways... isn't the singer the only original member right now? I heard he's also a drummer for LengTche

by the way, have you ever seen Symbyosis live? That's got to be the best band to come out of France, too bad they're not very popular.

Aborted => Belgium ;)
Yes, Svencho was the Leng Tch'e drummer too.
For Symbyosis, I don't remind if I've seen it live. Probably yes, but I'm not a huge fan of their music, even if I think they're good and in live : intense !

I had the chance to see Etienne Gallo playing drums with Aborted in live. It was very very good !

For France, I think you should listen to a few brutal death / technical death bands like for example :
