Mayhem fest is a fucking joke.
I dont know of any good shit other than Abigail tonight, and Punk is Dead Fest in Lancaster at the end of August. Kinda weak.

Even the best bands there (COB, Behemoth, and Amon Amarth) are still pretty mediocre.
Man, looking at Moshking, there really isn't anything I want to go see. The only things that look appealing are the Maiden/Megadeth/etc show, but I'm not crazy about any of those bands, and it's going to be expensive, and the Kreator/Overkill show in November, but that's fucking November.

yeah. There are zero shows I have a hard on for. Not worth the hassle. When I was in high school, I was constantly going to shows. Now I feel like an old man

If anyone knows of any legitimately good black metal or death metal shows, let me know. Usually I suck at keeping track and am not a big fan of going out of my way to see mediocre bands. That said, I'd like to get to more shows.
Are you going to the game on Sunday? They're giving out tickets at Macy's if you spend $25. I found this on accident by buying some jeans today. So yeah, I have a ticket. Never been to their games before. I used to go to Quakes games before though, I imagine it's like that?
How about that homeless one metalfest on July 6th?

This years Power of the Riff fest is pretty weak.
Ill most likely go just for From Ashes Rise, and Iron Lung cause I missed them at MDF.

Only band there i'd want to see is Hexen, that being said, it would totally be worth it just to see them. I'm going to be in Hollywood tomorrow anyway ... i just might go if have enough time(which i doubt i will).
