Southern Metalcore

The band's name is Down N' Dirty and they hail from Michigan.
They're coming back to finish vocals for the other songs, but this one is it.

I posted some rough mixes a couple of weeks back, but here's one I'm pretty satisfied with.

Tell me if it's pumping or not....my mixes are bass heavy compared to those of others.

I used TSE 1.6 sov, with catharsis s-presighs.
drums are paramore snare + Brian's kick + raw & real OH with a filter.

It's less compressed than the raw mix, but now it lacks the big sound I want to have. behh it's fine.

aquire some sufficient monitoring system, if you can't hear it's pumping (and it is!) and are asking us to tell you then you have to invest at least in some good headphones.

Anywho, i'd redo the "mastering" and perhaps even redo the whole mix.

Take a look at the limiter and the mastercompressor?
