Space Echo Reamping Real awesome tape delay $5/song

I have a really cool tape delay that I don't use enough. So I figured you guys might want to try it out.
$5/song, send me as many files to process as you want. I'll send you back multiple versions of the results.

This is a mono effect, just delay no reverb. In the clips below I'm hitting the tape pretty hard but it is not as dirty/distorted as you might expect from a vintage tape-based effect.

Space Echos are quite expensive and hard to come by, but well known and they sound great. You really think there's something strange or... uh... "lol" about this offer?

Actually, I think it's a really good idea and I know I'm gonna keep it in mind.

In that case, think of it just like guitar reamping. People offer reamping through a Dual Recto even though there are free VST's available. The amp sims have their uses, but they still aren't the real deal.

You can not take an impulse of a delay unit... an impulse is only a handful of milliseconds long... :Spin:

You can make an impuls-response of any delay but you cant make an impulse-response of the tape-part of the unit.

Because tape reacts as an un-linear system.
