I'm purchasing SSD next week from a registered seller (studioxchange) and I was just wondering the procedure with iLoks?

studioxchange said I need an ilok but I cant see anything about requesting a license for it on the Slate site.

As its a hard copy of the software will it come with an ilok authorization key inside?

Thanks

SSD relies on watermarking samples and having the virtual instrument registered through Native Instruments. There's no iLok involved, unless you're talking about Slate Digital products like Trigger or FG-X.

I've never used Steven Slate Drums before.

The store I'm buying it off have said I need an iLok to make it work : /

I've never used iLok before either so I'm a bit confused as to how it works exactly. I'm also purchasing Pod Farm Platinum (feel free to slap for the SDD + PF combo) and I've purchased the iLok with that. I know that in the manual which comes with Pod Farm it has an ilok authrization key. Then download that onto my ilok.

Is that correct? I just copy the licenses I need onto the iLok?
