Star Trek

I go alone to the movies quite a bit. If I go with someone it is usually my cousin, he and I work together and often go right after work gets out.
98% of the time now it is a matinee, less annoying fools in the theater at that time.

Just got back from seeing it. I've never been a Star Trek fan, but I thought it was really fucking good. It had all the elements of a great scifi: great story, really well done special effects (hate to say it, but Lucas could take a couple notes in this regard), and decent acting. I hope they keep making movies like this.

I really liked it. I'm not a star trek fan at all... watched a bit of Next Generation... but that's because Patrick Stewart is amazing.

Anyways, amazing casting, very well done... great acting, cinematography, etc.

And Zachary Quinto did a hell of a job making Spock so awesome.

Just got done reading the book. The book went into just a bit more detail about a few things here and there but no information that was really important to know other then the obvious (like the birth of Spock for example, you should know a little about if you have seen Star Trek V from Sybok.)

But good book though.....and still a very great film.
