Star Wars: Episdode III

I thought sin city was out ages ago, i guess thats piracy for you!

Anyway yeah i have a feeling i better try and sober up before something happens...

M-a-a-a-a-n I promised Arkitex that I wouldn't see Sith until I am in England. My friends keep begging me to go with them, but I want to see it with my honey first. Only 26 more days.
Nightwar--I suppose I can get past the hairdon't as I do also like Tim Burton films--I love his second film, Beetlejuice
.

Yeah - 'Sin City'!!

'Sin City' is definatly my kind of thing, and the trailers do look awesome!
The guy that directed it also made 'Dusk 'Till Dawn' & 'Desperado'!

I have a feeling it is going to be a good summer for decent movies!

Yip Nighrwar Sin City looks totally tremendous, think it's out here next week, so will definitely be at the first showing. Lots of good films coming out over the next few weeks, War of the Worlds look really brill as well, and I quite fancy the look of the new Batman, although I'm not usually into the Batman movies, they're ok, but this new one looks far superior. Mr and Mrs Smith looks really good as well, Brad Pitt (yum yum) and Angelina, think that looks good fun and a really good movie. Not sure about House of Wax, quite fancied it until I realised Paris is in it, I'll read a few reviews before I go see that one.
I think Everything's Gone Pete Tong looks a right good laugh, so might check that one out.

Seeing The Sith again today at lunchtime, following by bar lunch and a few drinkies - NICE!

Cindi - Yeah, Beetlejuice is a wonderful film, isn't it! It was Keaton's and Ryder's finest hour!
Don't worry about the hair - like most of Mr Depp's work, it takes a while to grow on you, but when it does you realise what a great actor he is.
The only Tom Burton film I have reservations about is 'Planet Of The Apes' - all his other stuff has been fantastic!

Your Royal Highness - I hope you enjoyed your lunchtime exploits!

Yeah - the Batman movie does look decent. Thank God they got rid of that Shumacher bloke and decided to forget his films (Batman & Robin was probably the worst film I've spent money on!!!).
The director is quality and so is the cast - I have a feeling that this movie is going to have a little more respect for its audience.

Yes thanks Nightwar had a great time yesterday. I thought Sith was brill first time around but it's even better seeing it the second time. Saw different trailers this time, one for The Island looks really good with Ewan McGregor in it (yummy) and also another one called Stealth looks pretty good. That House of Wax is actually out here just now so I took a wee peak at it for about 5 mins after I watched the Sith and it looks quite good, so I think I'll see that during the week.

Hahahahaha, nearly choked on my coffee there Valanx when I read your post. Brilliant stuff, really looking forward to seeing her getting impaled now.

Lobo -
Awkward? Yes!
Very Funny? Yes!

All I can say is, can me and Valanx have some of that stuff, too?
I mean! Bloody Hell, Mate! You were gone!
Maybe it was the thought of a Paris Hilton exectution that gave you a natural high?

BTW - thanks for the House Of Wax info, Valanx.
I was going to pass on this movie (I'm fed up of Hollwood attempting mainstream horror, you know?) but this has given me the incentive to get my ass down to the cinema!

Now... if only it were real life....

Poor little Paris...

Nightwar-Planet of the Apes was not really like his style ... I guess that I also didn't like that the classic was remade. I saw the original when I was about 7---I think that I discovered that boys weren't so bad when I saw Charlton Heston in scant clothing.
Princess--I have not seen the trailer for The Island ... is that a remake? I think Ewan McGregor is a cutie, too. Did you see him in Little Voice (a not so popular movie)? I loved that movie but had a hard time understanding his accent at times.

Still waiting to see Sith .... 23 days 8 hours and 6 minutes until I am getting on the plane.

I agree, Cindi - I mean, remaking 'Planet'? What was the point? But that aside, I think Tim Burton is a brilliant film maker.
about Ewan McGregor - well, I was very familiar with his work before he became a star, so it always seems weird that he is a bit of a 'Pin-Up', you know? He is a great actor and think his finest hour is 'Trainspotting'. But, you may need a translator for him on that one!! 'Little Voice' was a nice movie - very underated. It was a pity that it fell under the shadow of the distinctly average 'Full Monty'!! But its leading actress was Jane Horrocks - I kind of like her, you know?

I'm not sure Cindi if The Island is a remake or not, the first I'd heard of it was the other day when I saw the trailers at the movie. It looks brill and you're right Ewan is a total hunk. He's absolutely adorable. I've seen him in quite a few movies but haven't seen Little Voice. He was amazing in Trainspotting but he didn't look so hot in that one as he was playing part of a drug addict, he only looked about 6 stone and had shaved head, still looked ok right enough. You would definitely need subtitles to understand any of them in Trainspotting but Ewan's accent rocks and it's worth seeing if you haven't already. Did you see him in one called Shallow Grave, that was another great movie, think that was out a few years back and he looks gorgeous in that one. Yes I think Ewan's one of my fav actors at the moment.

I looked it up ... I don't think that it is a remake ... I must have been thinking of The Island of Dr. Moreau.

 Princess--I have not seen Shallow Grave or Trainspotting, but if they are out on DVD I will have plenty of time to see them after I move as I don't think that I will be employed immediately. You should try to see Little Voice ... I actually also like Michael Caine in that movie as well.
I am looking forward to seeing Ewan McGregor in Star Wars III ... 22 more days!
By the way ... are you going to see Saxon anytime soon? Arkitex is taking me to see them for the first time in October in Bradford. :Spin:
