Staring my own plug-in company... thanks to this board!!

been toying for some time now with the idea of creating my own plug-ins to address a variety of very specific audio problems and needs that have come up repeatedly over the years. Early this morning an innoccent question from a regular here at Andy's forum finally kicked me into gear to DO something about it:

Yeah, how can I get everything louder than everything else? What plugins do you guys use to do that?

James? Andy? Anyone?

this desperate cry for help has motivated me to launch my own plug-in company, Bizarro Labs™, and my first product... which i'm unveling for the first time here now, to you guys on Andy's forum!

my first plug-in... The Turner-er Up-erer® . it's exremely easy to use, just one control... slap it on EVERYTHING and move the fader, the lowest setting of which is +10db, the desired amount. with the right settings you CAN actually make EVERYTHING louder than EVERYTHING ELSE!!!

Sugar. i owe ya buddy.... the worldwide audio community owes you.

I'm willing to try it, although, based upon the amount of travel the fader has, it doesn't look like enough maximizinging to me. How many inches does the fader travel? I need something that does at least 4"-5" for optimum, optimumization.

So let me see if I get this straight.

With a theoretical dynamic range of 6db per bit, the plugin should give you +144db of extra headroom in 24 bit mode and +288db in 48 bit double precsion if you're running HD. And double precision means twice as accurately loud, right?

Man, I need HD.

Hmmmm... this thread inspired me to create something also. I was thinking about the microsoft office assistant and I thought wouldn't that be awesome to have something like that with our recording programs?

Already it is time to announce the release of my second Bizarro Labs™ plug in.

Behold the JP22 Dynamics Restoaration® plug-in!!:

here's some tips on operation:

notice that both eq and dynamics go up to infinity. the higher you raise the EQ, the more range you get available to you on the Dynamics control.
so, if you set the EQ to infinity, you will have a dynamic range of 0 to infinity availableto you. therefore, if you raise the EQ to infinity and then the Dynamics to infinity you not only restore all the dynamics you orginally squashed out of your signal , you also get infinite dynamic range!!

Yet another Bizarro plugin that is unacceptable. If everyone else is going to be able to push their dynamics to infinity, I want mine to go to infinity +1. If I don't have 1 more than everybody else, there's really nothing that will set my mix apart from every other Tom, Dick or Harry.
