String gauge

Hell, I used to use 10-52 in C Standard.
I think 10-46 in D standard is excellent. The strings were "dancing" a little, sure, but ultimately your technique can adapt and it can sound good.

I've always used...

10-46 for 440 E.
11-52 for drop D.
12-54 for drop C.
13-56 for drop B.

Works out pretty well for me on 25.5" scale guits. :kickass:

Hey fellas, what string gauge you recommend for playing on D tuning?

I have 10-46 but the strings are dancing a bit....

so any suggestions?
I've been playing 8 years in D with 10-46. As someone said, is retarded but I had no problem at all. Even the last two years in drop C.
Today I've changed to 10-52, I will have to get used, now I feel like playing a fucking bass!

I switched to 10-52 about 8 years ago for Standard and 1/2 step down, and I'm worthless without them now. I'm just too heavy-handed to play lighter strings anymore.
