Hard to say, somewhere between Pale Folklore and The Mantle, Ashes seems to be more for people who are just starting to get into the band.

Also, leave sins alone, he has the right to his own opinion and if you don't like. Well, hate to say this, but no one really gives a flying fuck. And seriously for the last time AGALLOCH IS NOT FUCKING BLACK METAL YOU FUCKING CUNTS!

OK Epic bump time!
Am I the only one who thinks The Mantle is overrated? I mean definitely, it's an excellent album and I cream myself every time I hear the acoustic solo in I Am The Wooden Doors... but don't you think it's a bit inconsistent? I think it was necessary for them to make, in order to progress from Pale Folklore to Ashes Against The Grain. Those two albums I feel are a bit more coherent.

I picked Ashes, although it's hard not to pick From Which Of This Oak.
I wish they'd re-record that demo...

I changed my mind about this band yet again... I can't really decide which album I like better now. I don't really regard PF as miles ahead of the other two anymore.

I just listened to "The Grey", which is certainly an interesting release...
