Say what you will about Stryper, but other than Ratt and Dokken, they are one of the few pop-metal bands that I really enjoyed. From reading the concert reviews, they are as musically sound and tight as ever.

I never liked them but after I heard their version of Winter Wonderland I wanted to DESTROY them :heh:

Well they have to do something for cash since the grocery clerk strike!

I teched for Rick Fox one night at the Marquee Club in Westminster, back in late 80's early 90's :headbang:. He cursed like a sailor, grabbed ass like a pimp and drank even more than me, is that what it Christianity is all about?:Smokedev:
And yes his playing sucked.

Yeah, it's called go to school and get the training for a REAL job. The 80's are over and it's past time for Stryper's lord to call them back home.

Oh yeah, can you tell I'm not sympathetic about the grocer's strike? :Smug:

Stryper is about as Christian as I am. It's all marketing, believe me. Find the Rip Magazine article about them touring with White Lion and the shenanigans that occured during that tour of the late 80's/early 90's and you'll get an education in Rock 'n' Roll debauchery that's not to be missed...and I'm not talking about White Lion either. Of course, it was also a lot of fun reading about the pranks pulled on Stryper...something about prosciutto being dropped on their drummer. :devil:
 
Yeah, but they're forgiven by the lord Jesus. They can snort all the coke, drink all the booze and fuck all the chicks they want and still they are forgiven. It's what makes them better than us, right? Oh, I'm sorry...not better, just forgiven...
