I think ppl who know they're not going to die anytime soon but are forced to be in bed all the time because of health problems should have the right to get assisted suicide. It's good for them because they stop suffering and it's good for everyone around them because they don't have to take care of them anymore, yeah that sounds mean to say that but even when you love someone, you can't take care of them forever.

And anyway, for others, it doesn't matter because they can commit suicide by themselves.

And I don't think suicide is selfish. People who commit suicide are people who were suffering for so long, and they couldn't find anything else anymore to help them. They don't really want to die, all they want is to stop suffering. Suicide is not emo or goth or gay.
