I heard SUPERHERO live and let me tell you, if radio airplay does not happen for this song (fuck mtv) I will truly realize that the world is shit. And the last thing I will do on gods green earth is rape Britney Spears while that faggity anne Justin Timberlake watches...errr...ummmm..I mean I'll shoot myself! Damn I didnt mean to type that..........so STUPID!........fuck! I'm still typing!:lol:
 
Ya want Justin watching? He'd probably like it! I kind of like the idea of him making out with Chris Kattan instead of that slut. She'd like it too. If I hear her say she's a virgin one more time, I'm going to throw up.

As for Anthrax on the radio, the heaviest station here, KUPD, plays Creed for crap's sake, so I highly doubt they'll play Anthrax. When I first moved here in 95, they played Only like every hour, but that was a loooonnnggg time ago, and a lot has changed since then. Now it's all Creed and Linkin Park and Staind and Incubus, with some Puddle of Mudd and Nickelback thrown in between all the fucking commercials. Now you know why I don't listen to radio anymore.

p.s. I'M NOT HEARING SUPERHERO TIL THERE'S A CD IN MY HAND UNLIKE THE LUCKY REST OF YOU.
 
You just described the EXACT playlist of our local station 97.9 WCPR. I doubt Anthrax will ever get played on there. It's really sad to say that, but the truth always hurts. BTW, does anyone remember the main lyrics to Superhero? I was in pit and couldn't understand most of the lyrics when I saw them in New Orleans.

At the Orlando show...being the 9th time I have seen Anthrax since '86...Anthrax ripped through "Superhero" and at the end of it, they turned on all of the lights and John Bush stood in the middle of the stage, grabbed his crotch and screamed.....

"ORLANDO......DOES THAT HAVE BALLS??!!!!!.......DOES THAT HAVE BALLS???!!!!!!...LET ME HEAR IT.....DOES THAT HAVE BALLS???!!!!!!"

Let me tell everyone who hasn't heard it yet.....that fuckin song has BALLS!!!!!!! Totally kickass song!!!

Anthrax was so damn good....completely insane that night. Full of energy and tight as hell. Franky and John were running all over the stage, pounding their chests and whipping a great mosh pit into a frenzy!!! Scott briefly talked about the new album coming out soon and then he asked Charlie to play a quick beat from the beginning of a new song on the new release.....now let me tell you.... I've heard some fast drum beats, I'm a drummer myself....but when Charlie busted out that beat my freakin jaw hit the damn ground!!!! Trust me, the wait is going to be worth it!!!!

Also....Scott Travis, the drummer for Judas Priest (and Racer X) is awesome as hell too (fast, innovative double bass)......Watching Charlie and Scott at the same show was a drummers wet dream.

2002.....the year ANTHRAX takes it all back!!!!
 
I don't know about that happening. If security is anything like it was in New Orleans at all shows it's probably hella har to get a recorder in. They were checking bags and pockets and such and using metal detectors. Of course that might just be a HOB policy.

That recording was from New Orleans, teh show I went to. You can see the back of my head in one of the photos. The one where John is letting the guy sing on Antisocial. I'm behind that guy on the left. That's pretty damn nifty.
 
Even though I've never supported "bootlegs" I can say this is the coolest shit ever! Jim you fucking RULE! ANTHRAX could use the help of having their song spread to a wider audience and the fuckers cancelled their live recording...so in my book you did them a favor. You are now my favorite motherfucker on the net! The pics bring forth memories of the show I went to....ahh such a tender moment. (GREGTHRAX TURNS AND FACES YOU ALL W/ A SINGLE TEAR RUNNING DOWN HIS CHEEK, LIKE THE INDIAN IN ALL THE POLLUTION COMMERCIALS.) You RULE! You MAGNIFICANT BASTARD! :grin:
