STS are a first-class Doom metal band. Every album they've done has been exceptional imo. And yes, Jonas does add a lot to "The Justice of Suffering", but that shoudn't take away from every other aspect of the song. It's not like he wrote the lyrics himself.

I haven't heard 'Ghosts of Loss', but between 'The Morning Never Came' and 'Hope', I definitely prefer the former. 'Doomed to Walk the Earth' is an amazing song, though.

Ghosts of Loss is the hardest one to get into I would say, but once it grows on you it becomes amazing.

I have one only album of Swallow the sun, 'The Morning Never Came' and sounds marvellous! Great band... reminding of AmorphiS here and there in the growling, of My Dying Bride in some passages maybe, but really interesting. Wanna get the other records as well. Long life heavy, doom and depressive stuff comin' from Finland.

I didn't know that was Jonas singing on The Justice in Suffering.
It makes sense though, because I noticed the clear vocals on the titled song "hope" are sort of mumbled and less professional sounding, whereas the chorus on TJiS is much better done

I have alll three of their albums... really great band. I didn't like Ghosts of Loss in the start, but it began to grew on me and now I love it.
