I wanted to register here, because I just had to tell you how much I love their stuff. And sorry, this is a long post but I want to share this with you.
Only a short while ago I heard a couple of Nightingale albums, and liked them so much I started collecting information about the Swanö brothers (and their albums). Well, in short, you got yourself a new fan.
It's amazing how two brothers can be so gifted musicians (play so well so many instruments), able to make so diverse music (different styles), have so good singing voices and be able to write so beautiful melodies that you want to cry.
So far I have 5 Nightingale albums, also I have downloaded Dag's songs from his site(s) and also the Unicorn demos.
Scarred for Life was the first song I heard and I was instantly hooked. Brilliant!
My other biggest favourites so far are:
Nightingale: The Dreamreader (from The Breathing Shadows)
Dag: Maneter - Jellyfishes and Inte som andra barn (from Dag's site)
Unicorn: The Czarina of Vermillion (demo)
But in fact they are all great, I haven't heard a bad song yet. I've liked them all.
So, Thank You Dag and Dan for making so wonderful music. I fear I'm not very good at expressing myself, but I hope you get my meaning. In any case, I have the utmost respect for you two.
PS. the Dag album that includes Maneter? Can you buy it anywhere? Or his other albums?
