have they forgotten about their home country? i havent seen 1 single show that opeth is going to be at! Or maby it's me that havent searched enough.

But why dont they visit sweden? they have alot of fans here!

(sorry for the crappy english)

I think they are big enough to play at smaller places now and not only Stockholm or Göteborg. Would like to see them cover Sweden; Malmö, Göteborg, Linköping (please?), Stockholm, Sundsvall and Umeå or something like that.

:)

They haven't played Mexico since 2007 and they are not likely to come back, so if you feel like you're being left out just imagine how us mexicans feel...

Hey, they don't decide for themselves which concert agency will invite them. Right?!

But it's typical of swedish promotors, not setting up progressive/metal concerts at any rate.

Opeth has played ONCE in Stockholm in -05
and ONCE this year (at a festival).

ONLY 2 concerts in 2 years!
So I agree, that we want to see them here!

They've played at three Swedish festivals this year, no too shabby even though I too would prefer club gigs. At least they headlined the Close-Up Festival with a two hour concert, but at Hultsfred and Metaltown they only played the festival-standard-lenght at around 50 minutes which is way too short for a band like Opeth.

A "proper" Scandinavian tour would have been welcome, but it won't happen until the next album has been released.

Hell yeah Linköping!
En spelning på Skylten kanske? :D
