I agree.
I'd test this idea on some program first, but i'd do the pickguard white over where the paint is black and black where the paint underneath is white. To give contrast.
I honestly think a diamond plate will make your guitar look like it came from the mexican fair. DP's belong to evenly coloured guitars imo.

you might be onto something for once bloody... but then i'd need to do prep work on the metal and use etching primer and then paint it lol... i'll think about it...

That looks cool, except for the tail piece, which needs some additional contrast.
Also, that tine edge of the pickguard over the tailpiece might be a problem.

On this board there are no other luthiers or any other kind of skilled ppl that can give you competition, if they were any they would long time ago show it to you. So far ppl tried to give positive feedback what you deserve, but you just have shit on them, wtf???
