I redid a mix of my bands ep, and wanted to know what do you guys think of it.

This is nice. I like it pretty much. It reminds me of Epica a little.
This is very melodic!
For the mix, i'm not really experimented, but to me it sounds nice !

Hey. Thanks for the input. I'm not happy with the guitars here anyway, and whole thing seem to be muddy

Here's my try on your song. I'm usually paid to do remixes so I didn't spend too much time on it hence the odd sounding vocals and snare not having enough roomy sound. But yes. If you are interested though, I'd love to really mix this stuff for cheap!

in the 1st one not all of the kick hits came through the trigger But I really like your idea for the snare drum.

i dig your mix too, but vocals have way too much reverb (and sound like overcompressed sometimes). Nice work with the hihats

While listening to this, i just discovered that i put too much top-end in my mixes

Thanks, yeah I think I was trying to get the reverb a bit too noticeable with its character. Good call on the over compressed vocals too. Just trashed that fx chain and started over.
