Another solid Symphony X album. I'll say more after a few more listens.

nonetheless, solid release. prefer mythology though.

Oh man, Smoke and Mirrors is one of my favorite Symphony X songs. One of the best album openers ever.

candlelight fantasia is STILL a better ballad than any on this disc. i'd give paradist lost a 9/10 though. russel sounds a lot different. his vocals seem more throaty in this offering.

I agree his vox are definitely a lot harsher overall on this cd. Also seven seems to be a throwback to their older days. I wonder if they're ever going to redue the first cd.
