What Slate kit did you use?

I agree bring down the cymbals a tiny bit.

Its a mishmash of different drums and cymbals that I thought were appropriate for the song. Primarily the DT kick blended with a little bit of Black for the clickiness. SSD Rm for the dryness.

That was better than I expected to be honest. I do hear some sloppiness on the fast parts and solos though. Not that is easy to play them of course, I know I can't. I liked the way you played the vocal melodies with the guitar.
Nice drum programming too.

Quite right there. Gimme another 2 years, I'll nail it.

Cleaner tracking and the cymbal problem sorted and this mix would be awesome, though maybe a little too stuffy in the mids for me.
