damn, that sounds really good, with the chords and all. it sounds familiar too, like from a black metal song or something....

It's a VERY common progression, I don't know if it's used alot in black metal but Alexi sure as hell does!

Umm well I can't actually think of a song/riff where he uses that exact progression (omg what a loser) but there's times where he omits the C and jsut plays the Emin, Emin, G, D like:

Lake Bodom (00:17-00:20)
Mask of Sanity (00:07-00:10)

There's probably laods more but I can't think at the moment.

I know for a fact it's the chorus to their cover of their Klamydia cover - Latomeri.

Yeah it is. You could economy pick it like Yngwie does in the of the Rising Force solo but doing it this way gives a different sound that I like.

yeah economy picking is kinda like sweep picking...but it's not necessarily a sweep that you're playing

Yeah kinda.

Look at the 2nd staff and look at the first 3 notes. Economy picking would be Down Down Up and repeat for every group of 3 notes.

Some arpeggios are even harder to sweep than alternate picking them

Yeah, it's usually those that aren't 1 note per string. Some 7th/9th shit requires some more thought than just your basic C major.

In fact, I have a realllly cool arpeggio tab thing that I've always wanted to learn but it's fuckin' hard, I'll upload it.

Trolls in the dark by rhapsody, i think thats of the greatest song on earth, with omg beautiful arpeggios. I dont if you have a tab for it, ive seen some but they are kinda crap

I found that but it didn't sound amazing to me. I really like Dawn of Victory, that's the best solo I've heard from them.

i meant this one, but thx anyways, yah i printed the NAil one, the first sweeps are easy but then once he does the sweeps starting from top-bottom, are ones that i can't do. and it's a little harder because i only have 22 frets, so for that first one i just hit the 24th harmonic
