TAB Thread.

Sorry, couldn't get online this morning :p

Awesome whammy bar tabbing Warheart, It sounds alot better now and makes more sense :p I basically re-did the entire guitar sections and mixed your stuff with the tab.. so yeah here it is

The best ETID tab out there ;) If you see any errors, fix and repost, I couldn't really be bothered with the pan settings and so on, neither the bass, keyboards or drums. They look right to me :)

Bar 3/4:
The E is bent up to what sounds like a G, then a D is sounded. This could either be a tap on the 19th fret E string, after bending the E up 1 1/2 half steps, then slowly releasing.
It could just be a natural harmonic on the 17th fret, D string or the 3rd fret, G string, and depressed with the bar, whichever you choose to do.

Bar 5:
Don't know for sure what this is but it's not too high so I just put it at the 12th fret.

Bar 7:
Is definately a C, note sure what position, the D after I think is what he plays with a quick bend and release.

Bar 8:
This is probably a natural harmonic on the 3rd,4th,5th,17th or 19th fret, probably the G string, they all produce some pretty high notes, doesn't really matter which one you play though.

Bar 5 is on the Low D string, when ever I play that, I just pick the D note, and do a slightly touch harmonic on fifth fret with either just my palm hand on open string or left hand on 5th fret and same with palm, doesn't really matter, kinda gives the same sound really, and 3rd fret does it good too..

And about the bar 8 thing, yeah it's most likely on the 15th or 17th fret, as you said, doesnt really matter.. Some on the B string give the same sound...

Rock Hydra, sounds to me like he's double picing the notes in the chorus too. Now there's a tab off pretty much everything we've all came up with so it's pretty damn close.

I can't watch that youtube video since my pc dies from that site but I'll see if I can download the mp3 and give it a shot, any idea as to what tuning it's in??

Normally shadows fall tunes to Drop c, but it appears they are in D Standard.

Well, there's a neat little workaround for Youtube to download videos. And there's a site that does it for you if Youtube's site forks your computer. Anyway, I'll host it, you need to use FLV player to use it which is included in the zip file with the movie itself.

Yeah I know about the downloading thing BUT since my pc is so gay, it jumps when I watch them on the Flash player, ahhhh.
 
Video won't help anyway, quality is too poor, can't hear individual notes... try downloading the song, if no luck, I can do it.. I always wanted to tab a Shadow's song :p

Hey Rock Hyrda, I'm glad to know that SF song is in D, my RG is in that tuning right now. I'll probably have a go in about 20 hours or so.
What parts of the song do you need, like what times n stuff??

Well, I ideally wanted the whole song, but what parts I really want to learn how to play are the intro solos and the main solos. I also have the record song hosted in post #127 if you didn't notice it there already. Thanks!
 
I'll try and get the song now, and WH it's cool you can start if you want to :)

Oh and if anyone wants, I changed and modified guitars in TDE tab.. Still have to correct most of the solo, like the tabbing part and some arpeggios and stuff.. if anyone can help that be great
 
What parts have you changed in Towards Dead End? If you've changed the intro then I'm guessing you have the Jan edition of Young Guitar??
