lol I guess I'm gonna have to get some Udo free albums and then compare!

Why punish yourself? :) Accept after Udo is crap..... I bet even Bryant will agree with me on this one.

They only had one album without the strange little man and it was basically an expensive, small, shiny frisbee. It was utter crap. Without Wolf or Udo Accept isn't Accept. U.D.O. is not a bad band at all but without those magical riffs Wolf wrote, it just isn't Accept.

I admit that like Eat the Heat, even if it's no "Restless" or "Metal Heart"...
I own it, but I probably haven't listened to it in five years.

Accept without Udo is like your favorite football team without any linebackers (or goalkeeper for you Euro football guys)

BTW JD, Urban Breed (the vocalist for Tad Morose) has a wide variety of deliviries in his vocal styles and often reminds you of other singers. One thing I think you will like about him though is that his "normal" delivery is actually fairly similar to Mike Howe in style. In factas you know, like you I am a MC nut, especially Howe era but Breed smokes him. He is THAT good. If we hook up on ICQ soon I have plenty of Tad Morose songs I can send you. The band should hit your sweet spot knowing your taste.

I see in Urban Breed the perfect mix between Mike Howe and Zak Stevens (Savatage)

I am just killing the new Tad Morose cd Modus Vivendi. I play the thing so much the cd says "Hey man give me a rest you are wearing me out"! I'm killing it so much I think the cd started bleeding the other day. God this album smokes so much. My favorites are "No Mercy", "Clearly Insane" and "Take On The World" all on the first half the the album. This album was my introduction to them and I plan on checking out more of their albums. This band is one of the main reasons I plan on attending ProgPower in Atlanta this year. I agree with some of the Accept arrangements. One thing im suprised nobody said is vocalist Urban Breed at times on the new album really reminds me of Blackie Lawless from W.A.S.P. has anyone else noticed this?

If you don't have this album find it now!

Breed reminds me of many people because he is one of the few vocalists that can give many different types of deliveries. On the title track of "Matters of the Dark" Breed sounds a lot like Jon Oliva for example. He's a very gifted vocalist to be able to offer all of those different styles though he never sounds like he is "copying" someone. I am tickled pink I discovered this band. They will be the highlight of PPV for me as well.

Yeah I also think that the Savatage influence is obvious in Tad Morose music & vocals.
ah... and they did a cover of "Power of the Night" with their former singer ;)
