Alright I was just wondering, I've lately got so many things to buy.

I thought about making a list but I was too lazy to,
just mention all kinds of must-get albums for a prog-metal-&otherstuff -guy.

(Note; I've got all Opeth albums)

Edit:

OH BTW, YOU CAN RECOMMEND ANYTHING BETWEEN YES AND BURZUM, incl Power metal. (But NOT hardrock stuff, unless it's progressiveness is above Uriah Heep (doesn't seem that prog to me...).)

Behold... the Arctopus - Skullgrid
Between the Buried and Me - Colors
Death - Human, Symbolic, The Sound of Perseverance
The Ocean - Aeolian, Precambrian

The actual question is: "Why should I NOT get it?"
It's an excellent concept album. Funny story and "acting", but serious music. Some very awesome dynamics. A great mix of all of Devy's previous works.

I'll just list off some of my favourite albums:

Abigail Williams - In the Shadow of a Thousand Suns (insanely awesome keyboards and well-done breakdowns)
Agalloch - The Mantle
Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain (best post-metal album ever)
Akercocke - Choronzon

Alarum - Eventuality (jazz-fusion metal)
Anata - The Infernal Depths of Hatred (contains the song with the best intro ever, "Slain Upon His Altar")
Arsebreed - Munching the Rotten (awesome deathgrind)

Umm...ok. :)

Though, could you people write somekind of descriptions for the albums, I'm not gonna buy albums just because you happen to list them. Edit: can't even afford them, maybe one or two at a time.

Btw. I recommend;
Ayreon - 01011001
Ayreon - The human equation

Both are just basically awesome prog shit with multiple singers and etc. And 01011001 is my favorite album of all time, better than any Opeth or Dream Theater album. :headbang:

ok then...

5 random albums, all good:

Blotted Science - The Machinations of Dementia
Technical metal that borders to deathmetal at times, no vocs.

Callisto - Noir
Post metal, dark yet hopeful sounding.

Grails - Doomsdayer's Holiday
Psychadelic rock.

Tenhi - Väre
Dark scandinavian folk/ambient.

Anna Ternheim - Separation Road
Singer/Songwriter-kind-of-music which is awesomely epic.

Fixed.
