So my band recently sent off our tracks for mixing when we came across a really annoying issue. In one specific song, the drums and audio are completely out of sync with each other in the engineers session. I thought it was mainly a midi issue, but after sending him multiple versions it keeps happening.
I just opened up the original session from where i sent him the stems, played everything back, and everything lines up and plays back beautifully. I cant seem to find the issue. The only thing I can think of is that the tempo track doesnt seem to export out with the midi when i export the drums. Any advice? He sent me a version with just drums and guitar, and the tempo is messed up from the very beginning. Im probably gonna rebounce all the stems but im not sure if this will solve it. Any ideas guys?
