I've seen Tesla many times through the years and they NEVER fail to deliver!! You will no doubt enjoy them. I remember seeing them open for Def Leppard years ago and blowing the Leps off the stage!!

Seen Tesla many many times, from way back when their first album came out and traveld to see them in Las Vegas at the House of Blues a few years ago. Tesla is a great live band and Frank Hannon is a underrated guitar hero. Saw them last year at the Fillmore in San Francisco and it was a great show. I was hanging out with some Tesla friends from around the country before hand and I offered to give a ride to a few of them, low and behold I found out one little firecracker of a lady was Jeff Keith's mom, hehe she was way cool and it was my pleasure to escort her to the show.

I might be able to catch this show in Asheville. It would be a great preview to the cruise in November for us. I'll let you know if we are able to make it.

Saw Tesla many years ago at the Frank Irwin Center in Austin, TX. I think they were touring for The Great Radio Controversy album and the support was Firehouse. To this day it was the LOUDEST concert I ever attended. It actually hurt our ears and I had to stick my fingers in them the entire time just to get through it. (This is obviously when I was young and before I knew anything about earplugs - and I was damned if I was going to leave just because of a little pain.) LOL

Ear pain aside, and echoing what others have said... Tesla put on an awesome live show. I'd like to see them again, but I ain't driving to Lubbock for it.

I saw that tour! Darien Lake amusement park (now a Six Flags). We were going on rides before the show (a ticket to the show got you in the park - that was cool) - we were about to get on the roller coaster (the steel one with the loop), when Brian Wheat and the Badlands bass player got escorted to the ride through the back, and took the front car on the next coaster.
Good show (though I wish I had the apperciation for Ray Gillen then that I do now) - it poured rain the last couple songs and for the trek back to the car. We were soaked, then had a 4 hour drive home. Good times.

I am going to try to catch the Raleigh or Greensboro show.

If you see a guy in a Savatage shirt, introduce yourself. I'm pretty sure I'll be the only one there supporting Tage! :)

An older cousin of mine seen the same tour and he still says it's the best concert he's ever been to. He was going to one constantly back then too.

I'm most definitely looking forward to seeing Tesla tear it up live next tuesday night @ Center Stage here in the ATL! OMFG the very last time I saw them was in 1987, when they were opening for Def Leppard on the Hysteria tour @ the now long gone Omni! :(
Good Rockin' Times Indeed!!! :headbang:

Guys should check out the new album Forever More too some really kick ass songs and some great slow riders to, killer music. Checking out Breakin Free

Hey Brian!

Tesla is one of my favorite bands and I've seen them a bunch of times! I saw them on the first album tour at the Texxas Jam (with Boston, Aerosmith, Whitesnake and Poison w/special guest Paul Stanley), in-the-round with Def Leppard, the show you mentioned with Badlands and Great White and many more including last year's Rocklahoma and just a few weeks ago at a sold out House of Blues in Dallas!:kickass: Tesla is by far one of the best live bands you'll ever see and if you feel like hanging out by the bus you'll find out they're also one of the nicest bands you'll ever meet. If you don't have the new album yet, I'd advise getting it before the show. They play a substantial ammount of new material from it but unlike most band's you won't mind because Forever More kicks ass!:headbang:

Saw them at Rocklahoma last year.....Fantastic show!

A must for any straight-up rock-n-roll fan!

Enjoy!!
