I was checking ticketmaster and I noticed there was a date listed for San Francisco. Its listed as july 31, which is the same day they're supposed to play in Philadelphia. It must be an error because it says they're playing at the tower theater, which is the venue listed for the Philadelphia show. I wonder whats really going on. haha.

I might have to travel for the LV date, although it's pretty close to PP. The Joint seems like an odd venue, though. The last time I was there was for Van Helsing's Curse a few years ago, and it was a rather small open area with maybe 300 folding chairs set up...although I hear they've done some remodelling in the last year or so.

I'll be at the Vegas show.

TM has listed that tickets go on sale on 6/13/09....they've been on sale since May 16th. The listing for the show went up on the 14th, and I was checking back to see if they had loaded in the prices yet and lo and behold they were on sale. I didn't check on it till around noon and still I scored center stage row 10 on the floor.

The Joint is a new venue replacing the old Joint. The new Joint is very simular to The Pearl Theater at the Palms. Seats roughly 3,000 people. The old Joint is now called Wasted Space

Having lived here since 1989. I think this is Dream Theater's first NC date EVER!!!

I'm really unhappy with the location of the NJ date. I hate the sound at Convention Hall, it's like a big echo chamber. I haven't been there in years but I know every show I went to there had horrible sound. I might have to go to the Philly show now.
